Yes, we provide 4 free water detection sensors. 

The sensors use internet to communicate and send alerts. When internet or power goes down, sensors stop sending us heartbeat alerts. We will notify you that we’re unable to communicate with the sensors and will resume monitoring once power or internet service is restored and devices are back online.

 

The home owner is responsible for any forced entry into the home and any service charges from the 3rd party.

 

You are responsible to keep sensors at the same location where they were installed. Make sure they are not moved during house cleaning, keep the surroundings clear of clutter, and periodically do visual inspection. Contact support for any unusual changes.

 

Typically, you place sensors in bathroom, kitchen, laundry room sinks, closer to water. Additional sensors can be placed where a potential leak is expected.

 

It is important that we have your right contact information. You need to notify us asap if there is any change in your contact information so we can notify you for any water leak alerts.

 

Yes, you can by following product installation guides. However, many people find it difficult to manage phone alerts due to their work schedule or being inundated with notifications, which may lead to missing critical water leak alerts.

No, we recommend installing as many sensors as possible to minimize water leak damage. Our flat fee monitoring service makes it affordable regardless of how many sensors you have.

Yes, you can cancel monthly monitoring service any time. 

Majority of people are not able to manage phone alerts due to their work schedule, being inundated with notifications, and may not be able to timely respond to water leak alerts. We take the responsibility of monitoring these alerts from you and will notify you for any water leak alert in your facility. We monitor 24/7.

We ask for 3 backup numbers to call and notify of a potential water leak. In case of no response from any of the given numbers. The responsibility lies with the subscriber. 

Yes, there could be false alarms due to malfunction of sensors or due to other technical reasons.

Even though we are monitoring your sensors 24/7 and will call you for any water leaks, it is a good protocol to call us in advance for your out-of-town plans so we are aware of what protocol to follow in the event there is a water leak and you are hard to reach.

You need to update your address by contacting support incase you move to a new facility and take the sensors along with you.

It will be up to home insurance company to give you discount for having this service.
